Excellent points about using PLR. I do agree though that there are some really badly writted PLR articles out there. Be careful not to post anything without reading it first and try to rewrite them in your own voice. I have found a couple of resources that have excellent quality. Nicole Dean has a PLR site. PLR articles are great for allowing you to do more but it is very important to do at least some editing to make them yours.
Most people would really be surprised if they knew how many of the gurus got to their exalted position by using PLR – there’s even one major membership site where the ‘expert’ running it had ALL of their original products and training ghostwritten – and PLR is just ghostwritten material available to a number of people instead of just one.
It should come as no surprise to know that the quality of writing is immaterial to me when I buy PLR products – the quality of the research and information presented is what counts.
Since I’m going to rewrite it in my own voice, adding my own knowledge and removing anything I feel is irrelevant or incorrect, how well or poorly the original author created it is a moot point.

Once you re-write your PLR articles (or ebooks) a few times it really does become much easier.
