You Can Control Your Own Destiny

Last week was one of the coldest weeks of the year in Maryland. Granted this is the winter and this is only the start of the second month of the year.

But as I was taking my daughter to school and driving to work, I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be nice to do something different. Wouldn’t it be nice to work from home.

You know the sleep in late, get up and lounge around before you actually get down to business. I think we have all kind of had that thought from time to time.

Well, I have been dabbling into Internet Marketing for a bit and have seen the potential that can come from it. I have tasted a little success and I know the possibility of working online with a home based business.

As I sat in traffic I tried to visualize reasons for wanting to work at home. I came up with a few here:

- Obviously no need to drive to work. I could work from home and set my own hours. But, you must maintain a strict schedule and not slack off. After all, this is your business.

- You are not working for someone else, making them all of the money and they pay you a lousy salary. If you want someone to pay your wages, how about you. I bet you know what you are worth.

- You are in control of your own destiny. Especially now with the economy the way it is a lot of people are on pins and needles wondering if they will be next to get the ax. Definitely not a good feeling to have. But with your own business you hold your own self accountable. Whether the business will thrive or die will all depend on you.

There are many other things I could put down here and I am sure there are more than a few that you can come up with without any ones help. But I think you get the picture. And that is the beauty of an online business.

And unlike that franchise if your online business does not work you could quit that one and start another without any major loss or damage.

And just starting out on your own you are not having to layoff a bunch of employees depending on you to provide them with an income. You may get there one day but for now you can go it alone.

What will it take for you to decide that this is the time to think about working at home. Be it the economy, needing an extra income lack or loss of a job, you can decide.

The internet has opened up a world of opportunities for anyone wanting to strike out on their own. Just remember that it is not all fun and games, this is or could be your business.

Also, a reminder about the Natural Weight Loss PLR package I told you about by Doug Champigny. Well, as I explained there would be only 100 packages made available and I understand it could be down to the last 20.

Remember, I told you so. This package will disappear when those 100 are gone. This could be your last chance. It comes with a PLR eBook, 10 PLR articles and 10 PLR audios, with graphics. Go see what is left.

Having control over your income is the biggest reason I think most people start working online for themselves.

In today’s economy I think a lot more people will be thinking about coming online to make a living… and if they have some spare time and dedication, I think many of them will do well.

Working from home always attracted me. It is often an outside influance what makes the decision. In control of your own destiny is just a nicer saying then: I can blame others.

    Andre,

You are so right. Getting a business of your own going can be one of the most rewarding things that someone can do.

Contrary to what some of the “Guru’s” want you to believe, it is hard work and it will take some time, but the rewards can be incredible.

Best part about this is that you can start this on a part time basis and slowly graduate to replacing more and more of the income from your job until you get to the point where it is possible to quit and work on your business full time.

    Thanks,

I sometimes don’t get dressed till nearly noon. If you think its been cold in Maryland try a Minnesota winter. Working at home, I don’t have to worry about driving in the snow. Even when I worked for other people, I always considered myself self employed. I had to fire a boss once though and it was ugly,. Decided it best to actually work for myself and not put up with the BS.

Ahhh yes, the old working from home and doing what you want, when you want idea.

That’s a dream that many more people than we realize have…the problem is, what/how do we do it.

With the popularity of the internet in the past years, that dream is becoming a reality for more and more people, and will continue to be so.

The problem is, there is STILL work that has to be done and you are the one responsible for doing it. Unfortunately, there are lots of people who don’t and end up failing, and they are the ones that say Internet Marketing doesn’t work.

    Anyway, you get the idea.

It’s a GREAT gig if you can get it!
