You don't want them to take a dial-up with their weird non-standard webhosting from bell south as part of their package (if such still consist). The presentations through the day will give them a better understanding of the current state of the business, and each evening they'll have a chance to rub shoulders and interact with those already making good money in the biz - good for both additional knowledge and motivation. And since most events are held on weekends, it doesn't require time away from their current positions or schooling.
