You have made some great points as to why a lot of people fail when they jump into Internet Marketing. I have made most of those mistakes myself over the last 2+ years.

Luckily I have found a mentor and have been able to slowly work my way into the last 8 and have begun to definitely see some success.

It was a long, hard way to go, but I decided a long time ago that I was NOT going to give up.

Keep up the great work Andre!

Your first 8 points are the biggest causes of frustration and failure online; your next 8 are the solutions to those problems. Great post, Andre - hope people heed your advice!

Great post. Neat the way you contrasted the wrong way with the right way. I am afraid that most of us spend way too much time in the first 8 of your points. Too many never get to the end because we do not stay focused. You have give us 8 great paths to follow. Question is will we lapse back into the first 8?

Excellent post. I think all Internet Marketers can relate to a number of your points - I've been a pinball wizard myself. It's because when we first start online we expect instant success, however we quickly learn that it takes education, work, effort and also learning from others that have been there before. Thanks for the pointers

I know that for myself, when I first started out, I thought many of those things. However over time I began to learn the right ways of thinking and doing.

It's posts like this that will help a lot of people get going faster.

Go ahead Mike, you always have some good tirades. I like that because it shows your passion for the subject.

Excellent summary of the routine pitfalls we all pass through in out learning curve. Still fighting my way trough some of them. The hardest part is to commit to a plan, when you don't know for sure it will succeed. The surest way for it not to succeed is to turn your attention elsewhere over and over again. And yet you do need to know when to abandon a path that wont work for you. To do so, requires a cool head and evaluation of where you are and where you intend to go. For most of us starting out that is difficult. Best advice from above, pick one method and give it your all.

Great points brought up here but they can be distilled to take action to completion on one thing at a time and it aint got to be perfect but it does have to be.

You can fix what isn't perfect after it is up and working or not but it needs to be up.

Climbing down off of my soap box before I really get going.
