Internet Marketing Done The Right Way
It can always seem hard at first, but there can be success with internet marketing if you have the desire to learn, if you are willing to take massive action, will do yourself a favor and find a mentor and you start building relationships.
You might start out and find you are not doing things the right way leading to your desire to be an internet marketer. Just step back and take a look at what you are doing. Let’s take a look at how you are doing things now.
1. You are only downloading free products- You figure you don’t have to pay for anything because it is free. And that is even if you have to search all over to find your freebies.
2. You want to jump right into a internet marketing niche because you think this IM niche is an interesting niche. Hey, you could even pass yourself off as an internet marketing guru when you barely know anything about the business yet.
3. You try to learn everything by yourself- Okay you like being out there by yourself. You can learn everything on your own because you know the experts are not going to share any information with you. They are just to busy.
4. Let’s spend a lot of time in forums- yeah, you know the right thing to do is get into those forums. There is some “useful” information there and we can read it all. That will teach us everything we want to know.
5. You have lots of ideas and you have started a lot of them but you don’t complete them. That’s because you love the idea in the beginning but then you see, this is actually going to be a lot of work. A lot more work than you want to put in and get going. And besides, it’s not perfect and still needs some work.
6. You have that really nice PDF report but the information in it won’t work for you. It might be a successful formula being described and has worked for others but it just won’t work for you.
7. Why should you attend seminars? Nobody ever learns anything there and it is just a waste of time. And all they ever do is pitch there products.
8. The old pinball method- You find one good thing try it out for a while but after a week when it doesn’t work you look and find something that looks better you jump to it. You are just bouncing around from one thing to another.
Alright I am just joking but you get the point. Did any of those things remind you of yourself. I know I have been there a few times.
Now let’s get down and do this right…
1. Let’s download some quality products and not only that let’s get products we are going to use. No need to have a computer full of stuff you are not using.
2. Why not try to position yourself in something that you are familiar with and make yourself an expert in that. Do you play golf, knit, do scrapbooking to name a few.
3. Go ahead and ask someone who knows a little more about the subject than yourself. Yes, it can even be an expert. Maybe they won’t have all the answers to your questions but there are a lot of successful internet marketers out there that probably can. The best thing about this is you are building relationships.
4. There is a lot of information you can learn from forums, but you don’t need to read everything. Visiting a few forums is fine but that should not be what you call taking action.
5. Talk to any successful marketer and they will tell you if you wait for your product to be perfect you will never get it out there and will be wasting time. You might even get frustrated and decide to move on to something else. If you are going to fail, fail fast so you can get upi and start all over. You can learn from your mistakes.
6. Don’t make excuses about how everyone has it better than you. There are many stories of internet marketers that have probably been far worse off than you. Excuses will not get you out of that rut. Take action.
7. Believe it or not seminars are a great place to meet people and build relationships. You will probably meet people there who have the same problems that you have. You can share experiences and learn from each other. They are a good place to get joint venture partners which could be your start to making money on the internet. And the speakers do share useful and helpful information.
8. Pick one method and give it your all. Learn everything about it until you have it mastered, you become the expert and then you can move on to the next thing. Stop jumping around to that next big thing.
Try these methods and see if they will work for you. After all where have all of the other negative things gotten you so far.

Great points brought up here but they can be distilled to take action to completion on one thing at a time and it aint got to be perfect but it does have to be.
You can fix what isn’t perfect after it is up and working or not but it needs to be up.
Climbing down off of my soap box before I really get going.
Excellent summary of the routine pitfalls we all pass through in out learning curve. Still fighting my way trough some of them. The hardest part is to commit to a plan, when you don’t know for sure it will succeed. The surest way for it not to succeed is to turn your attention elsewhere over and over again. And yet you do need to know when to abandon a path that wont work for you. To do so, requires a cool head and evaluation of where you are and where you intend to go. For most of us starting out that is difficult. Best advice from above, pick one method and give it your all.
Go ahead Mike, you always have some good tirades. I like that because it shows your passion for the subject.
I know that for myself, when I first started out, I thought many of those things. However over time I began to learn the right ways of thinking and doing.
It’s posts like this that will help a lot of people get going faster.
Excellent post. I think all Internet Marketers can relate to a number of your points – I’ve been a pinball wizard myself. It’s because when we first start online we expect instant success, however we quickly learn that it takes education, work, effort and also learning from others that have been there before. Thanks for the pointers
Great post. Neat the way you contrasted the wrong way with the right way. I am afraid that most of us spend way too much time in the first 8 of your points. Too many never get to the end because we do not stay focused. You have give us 8 great paths to follow. Question is will we lapse back into the first 8?
Your first 8 points are the biggest causes of frustration and failure online; your next 8 are the solutions to those problems. Great post, Andre – hope people heed your advice!
You have made some great points as to why a lot of people fail when they jump into Internet Marketing. I have made most of those mistakes myself over the last 2+ years.
Luckily I have found a mentor and have been able to slowly work my way into the last 8 and have begun to definitely see some success.
It was a long, hard way to go, but I decided a long time ago that I was NOT going to give up.
Keep up the great work Andre!
