Hi Andre!

You've made some really great points here! The two rulesd I use when considering the next big product are:

a) Will I use it within the next 90 days? (My drive is full of proucts I'll use 'some day' - now I only want products I know I'll use immediately.

b) Can I get it at No Net Cost? In other words, are either resell rights or a great affiliate program offered for it? Once I evaluate the product, is there an easy way to make my investment back quickly?

Couple those with the points you've made and any marketer has a reasonable strategy for a growing arsenal of marketing tools without amassing a collection of cyber-dust collectors!

Great post Andre!

I've heard some people say that close to 90% of the information products people buy never get used.

What a shame... If people followed the strategy you are recommending I am sure there would be a lot less products on their hard drive collecting digital dust...

By the way, one major shift I've noticed in my own buying decisions is looking for high quality products that come with rights (resell rights, MRR, and PLR).

In general, I am much more focused on buying and investing in products I am allowed to resell as opposed to products that are simply personal use only (don't get me wrong, I still get a lot of personal use only products, but it's a lot less than before and now I buy a lot more products with rights).

Andre,

As fast as the new products come out nowadays, I can't even keep up with it all let alone how anyone could even be able to purchase product after product and be able to study them and implement them.

This all takes time and I think you have the right approach.

Check as many out as you would like, but try to focus on one that fits into your business plan and purchase that one product and implement it.

Study the results, make some changes and take the time to try and improve upon those results and when you have it performing the way that you want it to and you feel that it is at a point where you don't have to put as much time and energy into this part of your business, then you can move on to another product and do the same with it.

Thanks,

Brett McEllhiney
