That way the focus of the article is on a keyword I have a better chance of ranking on,and the links to my main site have a chance to get rated on the keyword. I then post the article on my main site as well so that that keyword is represented on the site. That way I see article marketing as a game, and it helps give it definition and purpose beyond, I gotta write an article. Go check out the directories and look for articles in the subject matter that you are going to be writing on.
