Are You Understanding The Power Of Twitter?

I am still amazed with people understanding the power of Twitter and what it can actually do for you and your business. We use to think of how news got out through the newspaper, TV and radio.

I know you may have read one of my post before about Twitter but I continue to see the relevance and importance so I am constantly trying to get you to see it

But now with the internet still growing more and more people seem to be online sharing ideas and information with others.

Now a simple statement made by someone or an event can generate traffic all over the web and it can become viral, spread all over, in a matter of minutes.

If you don’t think so just read this blog post I read just yesterday to get an understanding about how powerful this can be.

It is still interesting to understand that there are millions of people who still have no idea of social media and Twitter in particular.

Even at my job when people hear that I have an online business I get questions and they are usually in the form of “you use Twitter, so what is Twitter all about”?

I try to explain to them that it is something they should get into. It is a bit easier than email, reaches far more people and it is free to get started. Just go to Twitter to sign up.

I do also have to tell them as I tell you that it is very addictive and you could be spending a great deal of time on it. But once you find your groove it will become second nature to you.

I have found a great way that I can tie in my online business and gain some more followers at the same time. My friend Doug Champigny has written an e-Book talking about how to use Twitter that way.

You Still Have Time To Get Ready For The Thirty Day Challenge

Yes, even with less than 5 days to go, you still have time to get ready for the Thirty Day Challenge. What is the challenge all about? This is where a group of really cool guys are trying to show newbies and veterans alike how to earn their first $1 online.

I know you are laughing about making your first $1 online. How is that going to do anything for me you say. Well actually quite a lot. The whole theory behind this is to show you how you can make money online.

If you can learn how to make that first $1 you will see how easy it is to replicate that formula. If you can make $1 a day that can lead to $5 a ad, then $10 and then… You get the picture.

Do You Have A Mentor

I was working in one of my niches this weekend and had some questions I needed help with. You know when you are just flowing with ideas, yeah right, and right when you think you have everything figured out you need help. And about then is the time when I ask you, do you have a mentor?

Now, the dictionary list a mentor as a wise and trusted counselor or teacher, an influential sponsor or supporter. And the verb is used in to act as a mentor to. Those are very good definitions and I would go with any one or all of them.

But I just mean plain and simple, someone would can show you the ropes. Give helpful advice when needed. A mentor is someone who has a positive attitude, who is supportive and who helps guide you toward solutions.
They could be someone with whom you can share frustrations and from whom you can learn that there are answers to the various and perplexing difficulties that someone may encounter.

Maybe point you in the right direction or even kick you in the pants and tell you to get to work on whatever you are doing. But in a helpful way.

I know I can find myself thinking that I know it all and then realize that I am way off course with what I want to do. Well that mentor can show you that path again and send you on your merry way. They are usually people who vicariously enjoy the successes of those whom he/she helps.

I see a mentor as a guide, a friend, a listener, a coach, a responsive teacher. They are not a savior, a therapist, or a cool co-worker.

They can provide an extremely rewarding experience, if you are committed to the process. They can be someone who is an expert in the area of your niche project and is willing to help you complete it.

The perfect mentor is one who is experienced in an area where you need a little bit of extra help because you may lack the knowledge or experience.

You should look at them as someone who has done something you would like to try and is willing to share their experience with you. Someone who is an expert in the area of your niche and is willing to help you complete it. They are not a teacher who always tells you what you should do. They are a positive role model, but most of all, a friend.

I see them as a people who provide guidance and advice on what it takes to be a “professional” and what it takes to set goals and succeed in meeting those goals. So I ask you again, do you have a mentor?

Top Traffic Tips Simulcast Now Live

A short note to let you know that the Top Traffic Tips Simulcast put on by Doug Champigny and Willie Crawford. These are two really big name Internet Marketers who got together and for over 3 hours gave out 14 top traffic generating tips.

You can get a copy of the replay and the transcript of that conversation to listen and read in the pleasure and leisure time.

Top Traffic Tips Seminar Price Increase Delayed

I hope you are all having a very good weekend. Let’s call it a recovery weekend after the 4th of July holiday. There are some important upgrades and updates that I wanted to make sure you were aware of.

I told you in an earlier post about, Tip Top Traffic Price Increase, that was suppose to happen last Friday.

That was the simulcast done by Doug Champigny and Willie Crawford discussing traffic tips and strategies. Well, there were some technical issues which caused a delay in the release of the replay.

Bad for them but great for you because the price increase has been postponed until Monday, July 13th. That means the $20 discount is still in effect. Better get it while the going is good. Get your copy of the Top Traffic Tip Seminar before the price goes up.

You just never know when something might go wrong and I would not like to hear that you were crying because you lost all of your information. Mike will take you step by step showing you how actually easy it is, come on if I can do it anyone can.

Another critical update is the latest with the “All in One SEO Plugin”. You are using this one aren’t you? If not then how are you optimizing your blog? You can optimize your blog for search engines by just installing this plugin.

Top Traffic Tips Seminar And Fourth Of July Celebration

I hope you had a very good July 4th celebration and enjoyed time with family and friends along with all the fireworks. What a great time to think about our independence and what it means to us all.

And to honor our fallen heroes past and present who have helped us maintain that freedom.

I live just outside of Washington, DC and we had a fabulous time. Lots of really good events going on. Big concert and celebration with the fireworks down on the mall area included.

Also for all of you golf fans we are having the PGA tour stop at the famed Congressional Country Club this weekend with the tournament started and hosted by Tiger Woods.

And lo and behold he is contending with a final round match up scheduled with Anthony Kim, a young rising star of the tour. Just what CBS had hoped for their golf coverage.

I don’t know if you were around for the call this past Thursday that was put on by Doug Champigny and Willie Crawford. There was some excellent information distributed.

Entitled the Top Traffic Tips Seminar, they gave a call explaining how they use their different top traffic generating techniques to run their internet marketing business and get targeted traffic.

It was a very good call and I wanted to let people know what they missed. If we can just put into practice one of the nuggets of information that was distributed that night it will be worthwhile.

It was sort of a pre- Independence Day teleseminar. One that could possibly lead you away from your J-O-B. I am glad I was there and will definitely be getting my copy of the transcript and replay.
